‘Barcelona split emerges over Marcus Rashford move from Man United’
Marcus Rashford finds his hopes of a move from Man United to Barcelona in jeopardy following the latest updates emerging from the La Liga side.
Having spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, the attacker now finds himself back at Old Trafford ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
However, Rashford had fallen out with Man United manager Ruben Amorim prior to his loan exit, which had led to his exile from the Red Devils’ starting XI.
As a result, there has been plenty of speculation about another move away from the club for the England international in the transfer window.
Indeed, there have been claims that Rashford will look to help Barcelona complete a deal to sign him, although it seems they have yet to decide whether they want to do that.

Barcelona unsure over Marcus Rashford move
Although the attacker is keen to join the Spanish champions, there is still some way to go before that could happen.
According to a new update from The i, a deal to take the Man United man to Catalunya is still no closer to happening.
That is apparently due to a split behind the scenes over whether or not to make a move for the 27-year-old in the transfer window.
It is stated that Barcelona sporting director Deco is keen on a move to sign Rashford, but that others at the club have doubts.
As a result, it appears they still have much to decide on before potentially making a move for the Man United attacker.
Beyond that, the Spanish champions will apparently have to oversee outgoings of their own before they can pursue a deal.

Man United to be frustrated over transfer update
Football Insider Verdict
After such a dismal campaign this season, it is clear that Amorim needs to significantly strengthen his squad in the transfer window.
Given the tough financial position they are in, sales are going to be needed in order to raise the required funds to make some of those signings.
Rashford is one of those Man United will surely be looking to sell given his situation, but this revelation suggests it is not going to be easy for them to do that.
So if they are made to wait for a potential sale, they will not get much time, if any, to reinvest those funds in the market.
Given the inconsistency in his recent performances, it is understandable that some at Barcelona are wary about a move for the England international.
Of course, there have been claims Aston Villa will look to re-sign Rashford on loan this summer, but that will not bring in as much as a sale would for Man United.
With all that in mind, there may be some concern behind the scenes at Old Trafford amid these revelations around the England international.
