Bayern Munich’s stance on Harry Kane sensationally rejoining Tottenham revealed
Bayern Munich are relaxed about the prospect of Harry Kane returning to the Premier League or former club Tottenham, sources have told Football Insider.
English clubs including Spurs, Man United, Chelsea and even Arsenal have been mentioned as potential destinations for Kane after news of his Bayern release clause emerged in recent days.
The 31-year-old was available for £67million in the mid-season window and that figure will drop to £54million when the clause becomes active again in January 2026.
However, it is believed all parties are not currently considering a move as a real possibility with Kane perfectly happy plying his trade in Germany.
Bayern ‘relaxed’ about potential Harry Kane return to Tottenham
The clause becoming active in January means clubs would have to stump up huge money mid-season if they are to land Kane.
A summer move for the England captain is off the table with Bayern unwilling to weaken their squad and sources say the German giants are “relaxed” about the prospect of losing their star striker.

Kane’s contract in Munich runs until June 2027 and Tottenham negotiated the option to match any accepted offer when he left the club in 2023.
The 31-year-old has hit 72 goals in 73 games for Bayern after climbing to second spot in the Premier League’s all-time goalscoring ranks.
Tottenham make Ange Postecoglou sack decision
Tottenham have struggled to break back into the Champions League following Kane’s high-profile exit, with manager Ange Postecoglou coming under pressure for performances and results in recent months.
Spurs have exited the FA Cup and League Cup in recent weeks with fans venting their frustration at Postecoglou despite a swathe of injury absences.
However, Football Insider has revealed (10 February) that he still has the backing of the Tottenham board and club chiefs for now.
Daniel Levy and his executive team will make no knee-jerk reaction to recent results but it is clear an improvement is needed in the coming weeks, with Spurs currently 14th in the Premier League table.
