BBC pundit: Tottenham ace has been my favourite PL player to watch this season (not Alli or Kane)
By Dominic Toner
Pat Nevin has revealed that Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen has been his favourite player to watch in the Premier League this season.
The 25-year-old has been an integral part of Spurs’ success this campaign and an ever-present in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up.
The Denmark international has thrived in an exciting frontline alongside Dele Alli and Harry Kane.
He has managed to help the north London club up to second in the Premier League table and is one of their most creative threats.
BBC Pundit Nevin has picked Chelsea’s starlet N’Golo Kane as his player of the season, but has confessed how much he enjoys watching Eriksen.

“Kante is going to win it but, as a forward-thinking player myself, Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen has been my favourite player to watch this season,” Nevin told BBC Sport. “Most people look at Dele Alli and Harry Kane for Spurs but I always watch Eriksen, who has been brilliant for them.”
Eriksen has been an important first teamer for Spurs since his arrival in 2013 from Dutch outfit Ajax.
The attacking midfielder has thrived this season under Pochettino and has been prolific in front of goal.
He has made 38 appearances across all competitions this campaign, scoring 10 goals and supplying 16 assists.
Spurs’ English duo Alli and Kane quite often receive the plaudits for their performances, but Eriksen continues to be a vital cog in the club’s success.
