Ben Chilwell, Christopher Nkunku react to Kepa’s message amid Chelsea exit news

Ben Chilwell and Christopher Nkunku have reacted to an emotional message shared by Kepa Arrizabalaga amid the speculation that all three players could leave Chelsea this summer.

Chilwell spent the second half of last season on loan with Crystal Palace, demonstrating that he has slipped down Enzo Maresca’s pecking order.

Furthermore, the left-back made just eight appearances for the Eagles and was left out of Chelsea’s Club World Cup squad.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Kepa is set to join Arsenal after spending last season on loan with Bournemouth, maintaining eight clean sheets in 31 Premier League appearances for the Cherries.

Nkunku and Chilwell react to Kepa’s emotional message as Arsenal move nears

While Kepa is on the verge of joining Arsenal, Chilwell’s Chelsea future is in doubt following his loan stint with Palace.

France international Nkunku could also leave Chelsea this summer and has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Meanwhile, taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 25 June, Kepa shared a joint post with his wife, captioned: “Two years since the most amazing day of our lives.”

The message attracted likes from both Chilwell and Nkunku, while the latter has made two appearances in the Club World Cup.

Jamie Gittens could be an upgrade on Nkunku at Chelsea

While the Stamford Bridge club may facilitate Nkunku’s exit ahead of next season, Maresca is keen to add another winger to his ranks after Jadon Sancho returned to Old Trafford at the end of his loan spell from Man United.

Chelsea want to sign Gittens

Amid their search for a new wideman, Chelsea are closing in on Jamie Gittens, who scored eight goals and produced three assists in the Bundesliga last season.

On the other hand, Nkunku notched just three goals and two assists in the Premier League for the Stamford Bridge club, showing that the Borussia Dortmund man may boast a stronger eye for goal.

Furthermore, at just 20 years old, the former Manchester City youngster boasts more potential than Nkunku and came through the same academy as both Cole Palmer and Liam Delap.

After rising through the ranks at Man City, Gittens could be ready to shine at senior level in England amid the serious interest in his services from Chelsea.
