Ben Chilwell sends message to Crystal Palace fans as his full stats emerge
Crystal Palace picked up another three points in the Premier League on Saturday (8 March) after a routine victory against Ipswich Town.
The Eagles dominated the match at Selhurst Park with 56 percent of the possession while they also had 19 shots throughout the game, but they did have to be patient in getting the breakthrough.
Ismaila Sarr scored the eventual match-winner in the 82nd minute, with this being the only goal of the game.
The victory extended Palace’s undefeated run in all competitions to four matches, with this being their second clean sheet of this period.
The result moved Oliver Glasner’s team into 11th place in the Premier League as they continue to try and push for a top-half finish this season.
The Eagles now have a lengthy break before they play again as their next match will be 29 March in the FA Cup quarter-finals against Fulham.

Ben Chilwell impressed in his cameo performance
Ben Chilwell only came on for the final 18 minutes of the game against Ipswich, but he managed to make an impact during that time.
The England international won all of his tackles and made two defensive actions as he helped push the Eagles on to take all three points.

The left-back celebrated the victory on Instagram by saying, “Another good afternoon. See you in a few weeks.”

Crystal Palace have been urged to sign Ben Chilwell permanently
Chilwell is on loan at Selhurst Park until the end of the season after being relegated to Chelsea’s ‘bomb squad’ by Enzo Maresca, with the left-back only playing 45 minutes of football for the Blues in the first half of the campaign.
The former Champions League winner has impressed Palace fans during his time at the club, and that has led to them calling for the hierarchy to sign him on a permanent contract in the summer transfer window.
Football Insider revealed that Chelsea will be looking to find a new home for Chilwell after this loan spell, which could provide the Eagles with an opportunity to sign him.
