Ben Davies sends message to Tottenham fans as pursuit of Chelsea continues
By Will Butcher
Ben Davies is desperate to see his Tottenham side remain in the hunt for the Premier League trophy after a convincing win against Watford on Saturday.
Spurs earned a huge 4-0 win thanks to goals from Dele Alli, Eric Dier and a brace from Son Heung-Min at White Hart Lane, as they kept the pressure on league leaders Chelsea.
However, they failed to reduce the seven-point deficit separating the two sides, as Chelsea beat Bournemouth 3-1 in the evening kick-off.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, Wales international Davies stated that Spurs will “keep on going” after the win, as he continues to deputise for injured left-back Danny Rose.

The former Swansea left-back saw out the entire 90 minutes during the clash, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side were dominant throughout the match against the Hornets.

England international Alli broke the deadlock, with a superb curling effort from 25 yards out that found the corner of the net beyond the reach of ex-Spurs stopper Heurelho Gomes.
Versatile ace Dier then doubled Spurs’ lead, powering home an effort from the edge of the area, before South Korea ace Son scored from long range to earn a 3-0 lead at the break.
Former Bayer Leverkusen attacker Son doubled his tally in the second half, converting Kieran Trippier’s cross to send the Spurs faithful home happy.
However, the gap at the top remains and the north London side will now be hoping Chelsea slip up against Man United at Old Trafford next time out, as they play host to Bournemouth on Saturday.
In other Tottenham news, Andy Gray has issued a brutal response when asked if he would sign Alli.
