Ben Davies has heaped praise on Tottenham’s support at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon as they cruised past Arsenal by two goals to nil.
Davies, 24, remained on the pitch for the entire match as he continues to deputise at left-back for England star Danny Rose who has been sidelined since January with an ankle injury.
Wales international Davies was in fine form from left-back, as goals from Harry Kane and Dele Alli secured three points against Arsene Wenger’s Gunners.
Posting on his personal Twitter account after the match, Davies was delighted to secure victory and dedicated the win to fans in what was the last north London derby to be played at the Lane.

Alli took advantage of a loose ball in the penalty area to slot the ball into and empty net, before Kane scored his 27th goal of the season from the spot after a foul from defender Gabriel.
Former Swansea left-back Davies made his 30th Spurs appearance of the season, as he continues to be relied upon more so than expected due to Rose’s problems with injury.
It remains to be seen if Spurs’ number 33 will start against London rivals West Ham on Friday evening, with Rose back in training after a sustained period on the sidelines.
Spurs will be hoping for a repeat of the reverse fixture against the Hammers that saw a goal from Harry Winks and a Harry Kane brace earn a 3-2 win at White Hart Lane in November.
In other Tottenham news, Jamie Redknapp has predicted Spurs remaining four fixtures.
