Ben White ‘in trouble’ at Arsenal after Sunday development – Campbell
Kevin Campbell has claimed Arsenal defender Ben White is “in trouble” ahead of next season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gunners and Everton striker claimed the 24-year-old is likely to lose his place in the starting XI to William Saliba.
White missed Arsenal’s win over Everton on Sunday with a quad injury.

Speaking to club media (17 July), Mikel Arteta revealed the problem is not serious though.
Saliba started alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in White’s absence and impressed in a 2-0 for the Gunners.
When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of the latest, Campbell said: “Ben White is at risk now.
“I am telling you, he is at risk right now. Him getting a little injury in pre-season and Saliba impressing…
“You have to remember, Saliba’s confidence is at the highest it will ever be. He had a full season at Marseille, won the young player of the year and is a France international.
“He’s back at Arsenal and now the centre-half he’s competing against is injured! He is going to rubbing his hands.
“Look, he has all of the attributes. He has a bit of everything. His confidence is high.

“White is in trouble because his place in the side in the side is being challenged. It is a case of may the best man win.
“Saliba is so young, so big, so strong and so talented. If he has another good couple of games White will be on the bench come the start of the season.”
In other news, Calvin Bassey has been cited by an expert as Arsenal close in on fifth summer signing.
