Jurgen Klopp had his glasses knocked off during wild celebrations at Norwich

Jurgen Klopp had his glasses knocked off his face as Liverpool’s players wildly celebrated their injury-time winner in a thrilling 5-4 win at Norwich.

The Merseysiders came from 3-1 down early in the second half to win a wonderfully entertaining Premier League clash on Saturday lunchtime.

A Roberto Firmino double and strikes from Jordan Henderson and James Milner had put Liverpool 4-3 ahead before Sebastien Bassong preyed on the visitors’ defensive frailties to make it 4-4 in added time.

Adam Lallana then volleyed in the winning goal in the fifth minute of injury time to spark wild celebrations among the Liverpool players and coaching staff.

Lallana ripped off his shirt and raced to the touchline, where he was embraced by manager Klopp, with the pair joined by the rest of the celebrating players.

In the ensuing melee, substitute Benteke jumped on to the group hug and swiped Klopp’s trademark glasses off his face.

The German was seen without his spectacles in the aftermath of the match and conducted his post-match media interviews without them.
