Chris Kamara makes massive claim about Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers
By James Black
Sky Sports commentator Chris Kamara has claimed Brendan Rodgers can become one of the best managers in world football after guiding Celtic to a record-breaking 63-game unbeaten run.
A number of pundits in England have dismissed Celtic’s achievement as worthless but Kamara rejects that suggestion completely.
The Hoops have avoided defeat domestically since May 2016 and shattered a century-old record – remarkably already held by Celtic – for the longest unbeaten domestic run in British football.
The Northern Irishman won a treble in his first season in Scotland and has taken the Scottish champions into the group stage of the Champions League in successive seasons.
Kammy believes if Rodgers had broken such a record in England’s Premier League he would be the talk of football and insists he won’t see Celtic’s record beaten in his lifetime.

He added: “I can say now, within my lifetime that will never be beaten.
“Brendan is still on the cusp of being one of the best managers in the world because of what he can achieve.”
Rodgers has Celtic on the brink of securing a place in the Europa League after Christmas courtesy of their third-place in the Champions League.
The Hoops hold a three-point lead over Anderlecht and face the Belgians in the final round of fixtures in December.
Before Anderlecht visit Glasgow, the Bhoy’s have a trip to Paris to take on free-spending Paris Saint-Germain after losing 5-0 to the French giants at Celtc Park.
