Celtic fans are satisfied on Twitter as manager Brendan Rodgers is set to confirm the signing of West Brom right-back Cristian Gamboa.
The 26-year-old is best known for his exploits with Costa Rica at the 2014 World Cup, which earned him a move to the Hawthorns two years ago.
Sky Sports presenter Jim White has claimed on his personal Twitter account that the Hoops are closing in on the signing of the 26-year-old Costa Rica international.

The defender, rated at around £1million, has been identified as the man to solve Celtic’s problem area at right-back, as manager Brendan Rodgers looks to tie up a deal before the transfer deadline on Wednesday.
Fans are happy with the imminent signing of Gamboa, with many claiming that he is better than current right-back Saidy Janko.

Christian Gamboa the new right back then. Don't really know much about him, but will assuredly be better than Janko. #celtic

Gamboa has pace, Brendan likes that so I trust him. Lawell said one more signing, he better not be stopping here! #Celtic

Here's to hoping that Gamboa is not a more expensive version of Saidy Janko

One fan isn’t as positive as his fellow Celtic fans, but decided to take the honest perspective over the signing of Gamboa.
The former Rosenborg defender has 50 national caps to his name and enjoyed a run to the quarter finals of the 2014 World Cup, but is set to leave the Midlands club this summer with less than 12 months left on his three-year deal.
