Betting update: West Ham joint favourites to sign Liverpool 27-year-old

West Ham are joint favourites with Southampton to sign Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.
Betting company Sky Bet have installed the Premier League duo at odds of 6/1 to sign the Reds player before February 3, 2017.
Other Premier League clubs in the running to sign the England international are, Arsenal at odds of 10/1, their north London rivals Tottenham at 14/1 and a move abroad to AC Milan at 16/1.
Slaven Bilic has four strikers at the club in Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and summer signings Ashley Fletcher and Simone Zaza.
Between them this season they have only scored two Premier League goals as injuries and bad form have seen them struggling to find the back of the net.

This has resulted in the east London club struggling for form during the first half of the 2016/17 league campaign.
They are 13th in the table on 19 points from 17 games, winning five matches and scoring only 19 goals this term.
On the other hand, Sturridge, 27, has failed to score a league goal this season, providing only two assists in ten games, five of which he has started.
He has, however, found the back of the net in the EFL Cup, scoring four goals in two games as Jurgen Klopp’s side have reached the semi-final stages of the competition.
One time Premier League winner Sturridge has played for the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea during the early part of his playing days.
In the latest West Ham transfer news, David Moyes issues a response amid reports of the Hammers interest in £6 million player.
