View: Bidding reportedly at £1m – Leeds must beat Championship duo to sign 23-year-old forward
COMMENT By Will Butcher
Leeds should be looking for another striker before the summer transfer window slams shut and Luton’s Isaac Vassell should be at the top of that list.
The Sun’s transfer expert Alan Nixon claimed on his personal Twitter account that Bristol City and Birmingham are eyeing a move to sign the 23-year-old.
It is said that bidding has already reached the seven-figure mark but Luton want more money to sign the versatile forward.
Vassell starred in Luton’s first game of the season, as the Hatters smashed Yeovil 8-2 on Saturday. The former Plymouth ace scored two goals, two minutes apart just before the break.
Known for his pace and eye for goal, both Harry Redknapp and Lee Johnson believe he is worth a shot in the Championship and Thomas Christiansen should join them in trying to sign Vassell.
