Leeds United’s new manager Marcelo Bielsa is interested in a loan move to sign Tottenham defender Juan Foyth, according to a report.
Argentinian publication Varksy Sports claimed on their official Twitter account that the Whites boss is keen on landing the 20-year-old from the Premier League giants for the 2018/19 campaign.
Bielsa has been confirmed as the manager at Elland Road and is looking to use his connections with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to help sign new players.

Foyth is a ball-playing centre-back that was on the fringes during his first season in English football, but is a highly-rated young Argentinian defender.
Football Insider verdict:
Leeds will have to improve massively in defence if they are to launch a promotion bid in the 2018/19 campaign, but there is now real optimism around the club after securing the high-profile appointment of Bielsa as their manager. The Yorkshire giants can now be expected to be linked with both Tottenham and Argentinian players, but a raid for Foyth would make perfect sense. The young centre-back needs some first-team experience after just eight senior appearances during his debut season for Spurs, which is why sending him out on loan to the Championship will help his development. Leeds fans should be excited about the prospect of landing a ball-playing centre-back that is built in the mould of Toby Alderweireld and could go on to become a future starter for Spurs. He has impressed when given the opportunity by Pochettino and once he has got to grips with the physicality of the Championship he could be a key figure alongside Pontus Jansson at Elland Road.
In other Leeds transfer news, they have joined the hunt to sign a 6ft 2in goalkeeper from a Premier League giant.
