Big night ahead for 26-year-old fighting for his career – Three Leeds talking points ahead of clash v Burnley

2. Pawel Cibicki

Capped by Sweden at Under-21 level, Cibicki was widely regarded as a shrewd signing when he was one of three attackers brought into the club by Victor Orta and company in the immediate wake of Chris Wood’s exit.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga has slotted straight into the first team, Jay-Roy Grot has been given the deputy centre-forward role, but it is not yet clear where Cibicki fits in.

The 23-year-old is finally expected to make his debut in a Leeds shirt against Burnley after being an unused substitute in wins against Burton and Birmingham, and the defeat at Millwall.

A versatile forward who claims he can play any of the four main attacking roles, Cibicki had a fine track record as a creator and scorer at Malmo before his £1.5million transfer.
