Bilic makes bold claim about Everton player ahead of West Ham clash
By Danny Wright
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has boldly claimed that Romelu Lukaku is one of the best strikers in Europe ahead of his side’s meeting with Everton on Saturday.
The Croat is clearly worried by the threat that the Everton star poses to his team and has said that he will have to rely on more than just his defenders to stop him from scoring.
Bilic, as quoted by the official West Ham Twitter account, knows that it will “big job” to stop the striker from adding his already impressive goal scoring tally at the London Stadium.

Lukaku is the Premier League’s top goal scorer with 24 goals but he is bettered by six more players across the continent’s top five leagues this season.
Edinson Cavani, Robert Lewandowski, Edin Dzeko and Andrea Belotti are all considered as traditional strikers and have found the net more often than the Belgian international, while Luis Suarez and Alexandre Lacazatte also have 24 goals.

Bilic, 48, has come under increasing pressure in the West Ham hot seat in recent weeks as their chances of finishing in the top-half are fading each week.
The Sun had previously reported that the former Croatian international manager must guide the Irons to a top ten finish this season or face the sack.
His side are currently 13th in the standings but have won just one of their last nine outings.
West Ham’s win against Swansea in early April broke a five-game losing streak but they were brought back down to Earth again when they were held by basement-boys Sunderland last week.
In other West Ham news, Bilic has given an update on this centre-backs recovery from injury.
