Bilic: This is why Tottenham are behind Chelsea in PL title race
By Danny Wright
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic believes that the only reason Tottenham are four points behind Chelsea in the Premier League title race is because of Harry Kane’s injury woes this season.
The 23-year-old striker has been hit by injury twice this term and has missed eight league games, in which Spurs have dropped six points.
Bilic’s side welcome Spurs to the London Stadium on Friday night and the Croat has had nothing but good things to say about his city rivals in the build up to the clash.
Chelsea are currently four points ahead of Tottenham in the race to be crowned English champions, but Mauricio Pochettino and his side can crank up the pressure with a win against the Hammers.
Kane is likely to line up in the Spurs attack for the trip to West Ham and Bilic is mindful that he is the man to look out for.

“I have nothing but praise for them [Tottenham]. When I watch them I wonder how Chelsea made that gap, but they had two periods without Kane,” said the former Croatia national boss on Thursday, as quoted by the West Ham official Twitter page.

Kane has scored 27 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions this season and bagged a brace in the home clash with West Ham in November.
The 17-times England international has found the net in each of his last two games against both Chelsea and Arsenal and will no doubt be looking to make it three games in a row by finding the net at the London Stadium.
In other Tottenham news, Arsene Wenger has blamed Spurs for causing an injury to this midfield enforcer.
