Frank Lampard could replace Tony Mowbray as Birmingham manager

Lampard has endured a couple of challenging roles as a manager on the back of his illustrious playing career.

Since leading Derby County to the Championship play-off final in 2019, he’s been sacked by both Chelsea and Everton after recording little success in the Premier League.

Despite his 41.3 per cent win rate as a manager, Birmingham and Burnley are contemplating offering him another chance to prove his worth in the dugout.

Birmingham have been linked with several managers since it was confirmed Mowbray has stepped down from his role at St Andrew’s to focus on his health.
