Blackburn Rovers agree Balazs Toth deal as medical passed – sources
Blackburn Rovers have agreed a deal to sign Fehervar FC goalkeeper Balazs Toth, sources have told Football Insider.
The Hungarian shot-stopper has agreed a three-year deal at Ewood Park after passing a medical.
Blackburn have been searching for a new keeper to replace Swedish goalkeeper Leopold Wahlstedt, and they have brought in Toth to provide cover and competition for Aynsley Pears.
The 26-year-old has already made nine appearances this season for Fehervar and has kept two clean sheets.
However, he is poised to move to the Championship club before the transfer window closes.
Toth is under contract with his current club until 2026, putting Fehervar in a strong negotiating position.
Blackburn Rovers will use Balazs Toth to enhance their defensive qualities
Blackburn have failed to keep a clean sheet so far in their opening five matches in all competitions this season.
Despite being undefeated in the Championship, the club are attempting to secure defensive recruitments before the transfer window shuts.
Toth has made 159 appearances throughout his career in all competitions and has kept 52 clean sheets.

Blackburn are also looking to bolster their defensive options by signing a centre-back before the transfer window closes.
