Blundering duo axed in four changes: Celtic expected XI v Aberdeen
Celtic go into their Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen on Sunday, not only attempting to bounce back from the dreadful 3-0 Europa League defeat to Zenit, but to also nip in the bud any talk of a title race with Rangers.
If the Gers defeat Hearts on Saturday the gap at the top of the league table will be down to six points, and the game will become a must-win for Brendan Rodgers and his under-performing players.
The Hoops boss knows that the his side have a good record against Aberdeen but the Dons will be up for the match, as a win would move them to within six points of the Hoops.
Rodgers will be expected to make four changes from the side which failed so badly in Russia, and there may be a formation change back to the usual 4-4-3, after the three at the back system didn’t work against Roberto Mancini’s side on Thursday.
