Bournemouth braced to lose Illia Zabarnyi as Liverpool deal close – sources
Bournemouth are bracing themselves for another huge blow as Illia Zabarnyi closes in on summer transfer and Liverpool finalise another signing, sources have told Football Insider.
It is looking more and more likely that Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain will land the signature of Zabarnyi and lure him to the French capital.
The Ukraine international centre back was one of Andoni Iraola’s key men last season, and it would be a massive disappointment for the Spanish manager to lose another important player.
PSG are eager to wrap up the deal quickly, and talks are advancing between the two clubs.

Bournemouth set to lose Milos Kerkez as Liverpool deal finalised
The Cherries have already sold one centre back in the summer transfer window, as Dean Huijsen made the switch to Real Madrid for £50million.
To make matters worse, Bournemouth are expected to lose Milos Kerkez as well, with the Hungarian on track to seal a move to Premier League champions Liverpool. That deal is expected to be completed within the next week.
While Zabarnyi has not had the hype around him like the other two, he was equally as important for Iraola last season.

The 22-year-old started 35 Premier League games for the Cherries, bringing stability and consistency to the backline.
At one point in the 2024/25 campaign, it looked as if Bournemouth were pushing for Champions League football, and despite their winter form tailing off, they still secured a record top-flight points total of 56 as they finished ninth.

Semenyo offer worth £70m could be accepted
Meanwhile, Football Insider exclusively revealed that Bournemouth are prepared to accept offers of around £70million for Antoine Semenyo this summer.
Tottenham are among a number of Premier League clubs interested in the former Bristol City winger, with Man United, Newcastle, and Liverpool also keeping an eye on him.
The Ghana international enjoyed a breakout year with Bournemouth, where he scored 13 goals and provided seven assists across 42 appearances in all competitions.
