Manager makes transfer revelation: Midfield ace to be at Arsenal next season
By Russell Edge
Eddie Howe has confirmed that Jack Wilshere has returned to Arsenal to finish his injury treatment and says he does not expect the midfielder to return to Bournemouth.
Wilshere left Arsenal to join the Cherries on loan at the start of the season and has gone on to make 27 league appearances for Howe’s side, although he has failed to find the net.
However, he suffered a broken fibula in their 4-0 defeat away to Tottenham and was ruled out of the rest of the season.
Now manager Howe has claimed that Wilshere has played his last match for the club, with a future transfer unlikely.
Speaking about a potential move for Wilshere, Howe told the press, as quoted by Sky Sports on their website: “I think that’s going to be really difficult for us.

“When we signed him on loan, the plan was for him to stay the season and then to go back to Arsenal to evaluate his future.”
The 25-year-old has now returned to north London to complete his injury treatment, after spending time on the south coast during his rehabilitation.
Howe was quoted by Sky Sports on their website as saying: “”He’s now gone back to Arsenal but it was great to see him for the week he was with us.”
Arsenal remain in a fight for a top four spot, with the Gunners currently fifth on 66 points, three points behind fourth placed Manchester City.
Arsene Wenger’s side travel to Stoke on Saturday in a bid to continue their fine run of form which has seen them pick up two successive 2-0 victories.
In other Tottenham transfer news, Spurs and Chelsea are going head to head for this 26-year-old Premier League ace.
