Bournemouth land stunning £90m+ windfall
Bournemouth have made a £96million profit on three big-money sales this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Bournemouth have sold multiple stars during the current transfer window following several impressive performances at the Vitality Stadium last season.
Cannae Holdings, which owns a 44 per cent stake in the Premier League side, released its second-quarter earnings for the 2025-26 financial year on Monday (11 August).
The US-based investment firm revealed the Cherries have generated almost $200million (£148million) in transfer fees from the sales of Illia Zabarnyi, Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez.
Zabarnyi joined PSG earlier this week, with the deal worth up to $79million (£58.4million) including add-ons, having signed the defender from Dynamo Kyiv in January 2023.
Bournemouth signed Huijsen from Juventus last summer before selling him to Real Madrid for $68million (£50.2million) in June.
Meanwhile, Kerkez has made the move to Liverpool for $52million (£38.4million), two years after arriving at the Vitality Stadium from AZ Alkmaar.
Cannae Holdings revealed Andoni Iraola’s side have made almost $130million (£96million) profit on the fees they paid to sign the star trio.
Jaidon Anthony and Mark Travers have also left for Burnley and Everton this summer, with those deals worth a combined $18million (£13.3million).

Bournemouth set for more signings after new reveal
It’s been a mixed summer for Iraola after losing several key players.
However, Antoine Semenyo has signed a new deal with Bournemouth until 2030, providing them with a major boost heading into the upcoming Premier League season.
In terms of incomings, the Cherries have signed Djordje Petrovic for a reported £25million from Chelsea.
The goalkeeper has been drafted in as a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has now signed for Arsenal after spending the 2024-25 campaign on loan at the Vitality Stadium from Chelsea.
Meanwhile, left-back Adrien Truffert has joined in a £14.4million deal from Rennes and Bafode Diakite has completed his £34.6million move from Lille.
Cannae Holdings revealed Bournemouth are continuing to look at other players who can improve their squad before the transfer window closes on 1 September.

Brentford accelerate move to sign Bournemouth star
In terms of other transfer activity, Football Insider revealed on 12 August Brentford are accelerating their efforts to sign Dango Ouattara from Bournemouth.
The Bees are eyeing the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for Bryan Mbeumo, who joined Manchester United last month.
Sources say the Cherries would prefer to keep the forward, but they are open to a sale if they can find a replacement.
The Burkina Faso international is believed to be interested in making the switch to west London, with the move progressing quickly.
