Bradley Collin’s awful error caused Coventry to narrowly lose 2-1 to fellow promotion-chasers Burnley.
Haji Wright controversially opened the scoring, poking home from an offside position which was completely missed by the linesman in the fifth minute.
Burnley responded in the 16th minute, as Celtic target Josh Brownhill made a darting run down the right, pulling a cross back for Jadon Anthony to level the scores.

Frank Lampard watches Coventry fall apart vs Burnley
Bradley Collins – 2
Caught entirely out of position for Burnley’s equaliser in the first half. The 28-year-old was once again at fault as a mix-up between the keeper and Kitching allowed Anthony to roll the ball into an empty net to give Burnley the lead.
Milan van Ewijk – 6
The Dutchman’s long throws were incredibly dangerous, but his teammates were unable to make the most of the threat posed.
Bobby Thomas – 8 – Player-of-the-Match
Whilst Kitching was all over the place at the back, Thomas was a rock for Lampard’s side, winning tackles and blocking everything that came his way.
Liam Kitching – 3
A miserable afternoon for Kitching, who looked shaky to begin with and was just as much at fault for Anthony’s second as his goalkeeper was.
Jay Dasilva – 4
Allowed Brownhill to waltz past him for Burnley’s first goal, offered little going forward and the former Chelsea man will have been disappointed with his performance.

Matt Grimes puts in solid shift for Coventry
Matt Grimes – 6
Grimes joined from Swansea in the January transfer window, and the former England U21 international worked hard, and played well, up against a strong Burnley midfield.
Jamie Allen (off for Torp 74′) – 5
Tidy with his passing, without effectively breaking the lines often enough, the Clarets were content to see him have the ball, knowing little danger would come of it.
Tatsuhiro Sakamoto (off for Simms 82′) – 6
Whilst the Japanese winger looked dangerous on the ball, he simply failed to see enough of it to have any real effect on proceedings.
Jack Rudoni – 3
Rudoni scored a controversial goal against Sheffield United in their previous match, but the attacking midfielder was utterly un-impactful against Burnley.
Ephron Mason-Clark – 4
Missed a big chance for Coventry and drifted out of the game afterwards as Burnley took control of the game.

Coventry unable to hold on after fortunate Haji Wright opener
Haji Wright – 7
Scored a very questionable opener, with the American in an offside position, but took his goal well, nonetheless.
Substitutes
Victor Torp (on for Allen 74′) – 5
Brought on to add a little more incisiveness to Coventry’s attacks, but had little impact on the match during his cameo appearance.
Ellis Simms (on for Sakamoto 82′) – 5
Barely had a touch of the ball after coming on, completing just one successful pass.
