Celtic will destroy Aberdeen if Rodgers makes this one tactical change
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers and his players find themselves under pressure in the league for the first-time in a long time when they take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday.
The Hoops go into the match just six points clear of old rivals Rangers at the top of the league, after the Gers won 2-0 against Hearts at Ibrox on Saturday.
The Gers win, coupled with the Hoops’ dismal showing against Zenit in the Europa League on Thursday when they lost 3-0, has lead to questions being asked of the manager for the first time since he arrived at the club in 2016.
The way Rodgers can respond to those questions and also get the Hoops back on winning ways is if he ditches the three at the back system he played in Russia, and go back to the tried and tested four at the back he usually uses – and doing so will easily destroy Derek McInnes’ side.
The match against Aberdeen is all about winning, no matter how the team plays, and if that means sacrificing good football for the sake of a win so be it.
Any slip-ups for the Hoops would see the hysteria among the support mount as Rangers would be within striking range at the top of the table, it’s important that the Hoops respond with victory to maintain their comfortable lead.
