Brendan Rodgers has revealed Kouassi Eboue is closing on his first Celtic appearance following his move from Russian side Krasnodar.
Eboue, 19, is yet to make his Bhoys debut after moving to Parkhead in January for £3million, as Rodgers looks to slowly integrate him into the squad.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s clash against Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership, Rodgers revealed that Eboue will be in the Hoops squad in the next two weeks.
“He’ll certainly come into the squad within the next couple of weeks,” Rodgers said, as quoted by Celtic’s official Twitter account.

Celtic’s number 38 was brought to Glasgow as Rodgers continues to look for a central midfielder that can be considered a permanent partner to captain Scott Brown.

Nir Bitton’s inconsistency in form has seen him drop out in and out of Rodgers’ starting eleven, while Stuart Armstrong has only recent returned from injury.
That could see the Ivory Coast midfielder come in to partner Brown in the middle of the park, when eventually given a chance by former Liverpool boss Rodgers.
The midfielder was signed by Rodgers after starring in Russia’s Premier League for Europa League outfit Krasnodar, making 18 appearances in all competitions this term.
Eboue could be included in the match-day squad selected by Rodgers to face Hamilton at Celtic Park, as the 47-time Scottish champions look to stretch their consecutive winning run to 15.
In other Celtic news, this senior figure is closing in on a new deal after reported January interest.
