Brennan Johnson will get Oliver Glasner sacked as dire stats emerge from Zrinjski Mostar draw
Brennan Johnson produced another horrible performance for Crystal Palace as they were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Zrinjski Mostar in their first leg of the Europa Conference League knockout playoffs.
It was a disappointing display all around for the Eagles as they proved to be incapable of overcoming the Bosnia and Herzegovina side.
One of the worst offenders was Johnson, who continued his terrible form at Selhurst Park since his winter window move from Tottenham.
Brennan Johnson failed to make an impact for Crystal Palace vs Zrinjski Mostar
Despite arriving at Palace for a whopping £35million, the Wales international has offered nothing at the Croydon side since his move.
The winger has now made nine appearances for the Eagles, and is yet to pick up a goal or an assist.
Multiple times this already, his performances have been appalling for Palace, with the 24-year-old even falling out of the starting XI until he was given the nod against Zrinjski Mostar.

However, here he did little to improve his position in the team.
According to Fotmob on 19 February, he did not have a shot, completed zero dribbles, and had just two touches in the opposition box.
While he did create two chances, this simply was not enough to help turn the game in Palace’s favour against a weak side.

Oliver Glasner has been under pressure for weeks at Palace after a considerable drop off in form.
Now, all that the Eagles are essentially playing for is the Europa Conference League – a competition they are expected to win.
However, Johnson is proving to be detrimental to these ambitions, and if Palace are knocked out early on, it will surely mean the end for Glasner.
Therefore, the Wales international could prove to be the manager’s downfall just weeks after moving to Selhurst Park.
What did Oliver Glasner say after draw vs Zrinjski Mostar?
For Glasner, the draw was no doubt humiliating for the manager.
Not only was it a match that Palace should have been winning with ease, but it showcased how far the Croydon side had fallen in such a short amount of time.
It now means that Zrinjski Mostar are very much alive going into the second leg, with Palace now winning just one of their last 15 matches in all competitions.
“It’s half-time, and we have to get it sorted at home”

Speaking to TNT Sports after the match on 19 February, the manager was quick to blame easy mistakes for the draw.
He said: “We just made two easy mistakes. You see all the opportunities; it wasn’t always the overload, but we can’t defend one-on-one.
“That is what I said before the game, we need to get our defence sorted.
“Then Maxence gets injured, Jeff Lerma is injured, we play with a 19-year-old (Jaydee Canvot), a 21-year-old who was injured for 18 months (Riad) and then Chris Richards.
“We see they are not in the best rhythm. We are always making changes. We need to be very self-critical today.
“We controlled the game, like against Burnley (3-2 defeat), but we gave away the momentum with easy mistakes.”
