Brentford-linked Omari Hutchinson sends message as Ipswich Town exit confirmed
Omari Hutchinson reacted to the latest exit emerging from Ipswich Town as the attacker continues to be linked with Brentford.
The Bees have already lost Bryan Mbeumo to Man United on a £71million deal [Sky Sports], with Yoane Wissa’s future as a Brentford star now up in the air amid interest from Newcastle United.
Losing Thomas Frank was already a huge blow at the Gtech Community Stadium, but with yet another major player exit on the cards, supporters are fearing the worst ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Following Mbeumo’s exit, Football Insider understands that Brentford are likely to make another move for Hutchinson, having already had a £35m bid rejected by the Tractor Boys.
The 21-year-old has a lot of developing to do, with just three goals and two assists in the Premier League last season, but his raw talent is clear for all clubs to see.
Omari Hutchinson waves goodbye to Sam Morsy
Taking to Instagram stories (24 July), Hutchinson wrote: “All the best, brother,” along with a heart emoji following the confirmation of Sam Morsy’s move to Kuwait Club.
The 33-year-old departs Portman Road four years, 165 appearances, and 11 goals after joining the Tractor Boys, leaving many of his teammates emotional ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Keith Andrews already under pressure at Brentford
Football Insider verdict
Following in the footsteps of Frank will be incredibly difficult for the new manager, having played an important role in the surrounding community as well as impressing on the pitch.
The experience of Jordan Henderson is a good addition this summer, with Antoni Milambo, Caoimhin Kelleher, and Michael Kayode all being signed on permanent deals.
And despite fantastic campaigns from both Kevin Schade and Mikkel Damsgaard, the duo are not good enough to make up for the lack of goals if Mbeumo and Wissa leave.

Football Insider understands that Brentford are well placed to sign several commercial deals, though supporters will be keeping an eye on transfers ahead of a very difficult league campaign.
Last season, Mbeumo and Wissa accounted for 59 per cent of the Bees’ Premier League goals, and while Hutchinson is a talented youngster, he will not be able to carry that responsibility on his shoulders.
Andrews and his team have done very little transfer business so far this summer, and if the club are to survive a likely relegation scrap next term, plans need to change, and quickly.
