Brighton, Liverpool aces react to Celtic ace Adam Idah’s message after Rangers clash
Brighton midfielder Matt O’Riley and Liverpool’s Caoimhin Kelleher reacted to a message from Celtic striker Adam Idah on social media.
With several key players missing due to injury, including Newcastle target Nicolas Kuhn, the Hoops were up against it when they took on Rangers at Ibrox.
Things were only made more difficult for Brendan Rodgers‘ side when the exit-linked Cyriel Dessers gave the Bears the lead in the 44th minute.
Rangers looked set to claim victory over their great rivals for a third consecutive match, until the Arsenal-linked Idah found an equaliser for Celtic in the second half.
The Old Firm derby was a typically tense and fractious affair, marred by crowd trouble, and a draw was a fair result given the lack of potency from either sides in front of goal.

Following the draw with their rivals, Idah posted two photos from the match on Instagram, captioned: “Unreal away end today!! Should have taken more away from the game. See you next Saturday.”
The post was then liked by former Celtic man O’Riley and Liverpool shot-stopper Kelleher, showing their support for the Irish striker.

It’s fair to say that following his permanent move to Parkhead in the summer, things have not quite gone to plan for Idah.
The former Norwich striker enjoyed a fantastic loan move the season prior, scoring eight goals in just 15 Premiership games.
However, this time round Idah has only bettered his goal tally by two, taking an extra 17 games to do so.

Following Kyogo Furuhashi’s move to Rennes, there was an expectation the Irish striker would take over from the Japanese striker as the main man up front for the Hoops.
Instead, Idah has been forced to settle for a role as an understudy to Daizen Maeda, who has been in supreme form for Celtic.
But the striker has made his mark in recent weeks, scoring important goals against Dundee United and now Rangers.
Whilst it has been slow going to start with, Idah will likely be hoping his strong end-of-season form will see him rewarded with a place in the starting XI at the beginning of next year’s campaign.
