Celtic fans on social media have lauded Tom Rogic after the Australian playmaker tuned into an excellent performance for his national side against Denmark at the World Cup, in a match which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Rogic had a slow start to the game, but gradually came into his own and dominated the midfield with his languid style, as he often does in Scotland.
He was unfortunate not to score on a few occasions and his passing was very smooth and crisp until he was replaced by former Hoop Jackson Irvine in the 81st minute.
Fans on Twitter were full of admiration for the 25-year-old, with one proclaiming him as ‘superb’, whilst another fan was annoyed that Rogic was substituted.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Rogic’s performance:
Rogic has been brilliant

Rogic will be a key man for the Australians in their last group game against Peru, which they will need to win to have a chance of making it to the last 16 of the tournament.
Rogic’s excellent performance will no doubt have been noted by watching scouts, but the Hoops completed a sensational bit of business in getting the creative genius tied down on a five year contract just prior to the World Cup.
When he returns from the World Cup Rogic will be a huge player for the Hoops in their campaign to qualify for the Champions League.
In other Celtic news, Brendan Rodgers should use the Hoops pre-season tour to experiment with his forward line
