Steve Bruce has shared that he’s hopeful that midfielder Mile Jedinak will be available for Monday’s clash against Newcastle.
The Midlands giants are preparing to travel to the north east for a match which will see them face the top of the table side at St James’ Park.
Bruce and his men will be looking to end a poor run of form which has seen them fail to pick up a single win since their Boxing Day encounter with Burton.
And, the Villans could be boosted by the return of the experienced Jedinak, as Bruce shared in his press conference, as covered by the official Villa Twitter account that the enforcer is set to resume training on Friday.

Jedinak was brought to the club by former manager Roberto Di Matteo in the summer from Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.
He had featured 21 times for Aston Villa before his injury, which has seen him miss his side’s last five league games.
He will now be keen to return and help the famous club turnaround their form as they sit just seven points away from the relegation zone following hopes of an instant return to the Premier League before the season began.
