Bruno Fernandes and Alisson Becker react to Casemiro’s passionate message
Man United midfielder Casemiro had a heartfelt message for supporters as the international break gets underway.
The Brazilian endured a turbulent season, starting on the fringes but eventually forcing his way back into Ruben Amorim’s starting XI after a dip in form and fitness earlier in the campaign.
Still, it was a bitterly disappointing year for the club. Man United finished 15th in the Premier League and their Europa League final defeat to Tottenham confirmed they would miss out on European football for the first time in over a decade.
Despite his late resurgence, Football Insider revealed that Casemiro is one of six players who could leave Old Trafford this summer, with the club’s finances under pressure following their failure to qualify for Europe.
While uncertainty surrounds his future, the midfielder shifted focus to international duty and shared a message with fans as speculation over his exit continues.

Casemiro makes Brazil return in World Cup qualifiers
With club football on pause, players have turned their attention to international duty as World Cup qualifiers get underway.
Brazil played out a goalless draw with Ecuador in Carlo Ancelotti’s first match in charge, but it marked a significant moment for Casemiro, who made his return to the national team for the first time since 2023.
The midfielder shared his reaction on Instagram, saying: “Very happy to be back from a very demanding match in Guayaquil. Step by step we are growing!”
His post received plenty of support from both club and international teammates, with likes from United captain Bruno Fernandes, Liverpool’s Alisson and Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes.
Man United had previously been open to offloading Casemiro this summer, given his high wages and uncertain place under boss Amorim during the early stages of his tenure.
However, the Brazilian stepped up in the latter part of the season, and despite United’s dismal league finish, some Man United fans have called for the club to offer Casemiro a new deal.

Marcus Rashford set for Manchester United exit amid Barcelona links
While Casemiro’s future remains in the balance, another big name who could depart Old Trafford is Marcus Rashford as he is also substantial wage package.
Reports suggests that Barcelona are open for a deal for Rashford but only favour a loan move, instead of a permanent deal.
Although a permanent transfer would provide a boost to United’s finances, the idea of saving the bulk of his £350,000-a-week salary for another season could also appeal, as Amorim continues reshaping his squad ahead of the new campaign
