Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount react to Leny Yoro’s emotional Man United message
Man United ended the season in disappointment but one of the shining lights to come out of the campaign was Leny Yoro.
The Red Devils endured a campaign to forget, finishing a dismal 15th in the Premier League and falling short in the Europa League final against Tottenham.
Despite Man United fans calling for Ruben Amorim to be sacked, the hierarchy are set to back him heading into next season.
Amid a turbulent year, 19-year-old Yoro emerged as one of the few positives.
When fit, Yoro has played a key role under Amorim, showcasing his composure and defensive intelligence beyond his years. Unfortunately, injuries repeatedly disrupted his momentum and limited his impact across the season.
Despite those setbacks, he showed his appreciation to the fans with an emotional message on social media and expressed his gratitude for the support he received during a challenging year.

Bruno Fernandes sends message of encouragement to Leny Yoro
The French defender shared a heartfelt message on social media, writing: “Obstacles. Tears. Lessons. Growth. Thank you for always being there. [God Did]”.
Despite the emotional nature of the post, Man United captain Bruno Fernandes was quick to lift his teammate’s spirits, commenting: “This is just the beginning of something for your future” alongside a heart emoji.
Several other United players, including Mason Mount, Christian Eriksen and Diogo Dalot, also showed their support by liking the post.
Fernandes has previously praised Yoro for his outstanding performance against Lyon in the Europa League, highlighting the teenager’s resilience and willingness to battle through tough moments.
Yoro threw himself into challenges and delivered a standout display that won him plaudits.
Though the 19-year-old has been plagued by injuries this season, he still managed to make 33 appearances across all competitions following his £52 million move last summer.
His injury record may be a concern, as he missed 26 games in total, but his natural talent and defensive maturity continue to offer hope for the future.
Man United could cash in on Fernandes amid Al-Hilal interest

While Fernandes has played a vital role both on and off the pitch, his long-term future at Old Trafford remains uncertain.
Football Insider revealed that Man United could be willing to accept offers in the region of £80-100 million for Fernandes, with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal preparing a potential bid.
After failing to qualify for European football, United now face financial pressures that could force them to consider high-value departures and if a marquee offer arrives from Saudi Arabia, the club may be tempted to part ways with their captain.
