Bruno Fernandes and Tielemans respond as Marcus Rashford swipes at Man United in new post
Marcus Rashford shared an update with supporters as his loan spell at Aston Villa is coming to an end.
The England international enjoyed a resurgence in form after arriving at Villa Park in January, contributing to 10 goals and assists during a crucial second half of the season.
Even though Unai Emery wanted to keep Rashford beyond this season, the financial demands of a permanent deal could prove too much for Villa.
Football Insider revealed Aston Villa would need to pay a total of £130 million over five years for Rashford in transfer fee and wages if they were to sign him on his current £350,000-a-week salary.
Failing to secure a Champions League spot has further complicated their summer plans, with spending expected to be more limited. As a result, a permanent move now appears unlikely.
However, Man United’s stance over wanting a permanent deal may have changed. Football Insider recently revealed that Manchester United haven’t ruled out another loan deal for Rashford, with interest in the winger continuing to grow as the window progresses.

Man United open to another Rashford loan as Barcelona consider move
Rashford shared an update with fans in an apparent swipe at his time at Man United in the first half of last season as he posted a video package on social media pointedly showcasing his highlights at Aston Villa, captioned: “Second half of the 24/25 season.”
His post was met with plenty of support, including reactions from Villa left-back Lucas Digne, who left fire emojis, and likes from Man United captain Bruno Fernandes and Youri Tielemans.
While Rashford looks unlikely to remain at Villa Park permanently, he dedicated the highlight reel to his time at the club after rediscovering his form there. His resurgence has not gone unnoticed, but his next move could be outside England.
Football Insider has reported that Rashford is open to a move to Barcelona, with the Spanish giants targeting a new left-winger this summer. Liverpool’s Luis Diaz is also among their shortlist, but Rashford has now emerged as a potential option.
Aston Villa target Noni Madueke as potential Rashford replacement

With Rashford unlikely to stay at Villa beyond his loan spell, the club are already considering replacements, despite ongoing financial concerns.
Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has been identified as a key target. Football Insider previously reported in April that Aston Villa had received encouragement in their pursuit of Madueke, though Tottenham Hotspur are also showing interest.
Chelsea are believed to be open to offers for Madueke this summer, which could pave the way for a move. However, Villa’s ability to compete financially with Spurs may determine how far their interest can go.
