Bruno Fernandes, Darwin Nunez react to Manuel Ugarte message away from Man United
Bruno Fernandes and Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez reacted to a message from Manuel Ugarte with the midfielder spending time away from Man United.
The Uruguayan midfielder endured a difficult first season in Manchester, having joined from Champions League winners PSG for £50.5million [Sky Sports].
Ugarte featured 45 times for the Red Devils in all competitions, but started just 22 Premier League games, losing his place in United’s side to Casemiro near the back end of the season.
The much-maligned Brazilian was chosen ahead of the Uruguayan in United’s 1-0 Europa League final loss to Tottenham, as the 24-year-old midfielder watched on from the bench.
With a tricky debut campaign behind him, Ugarte is now spending some time away from the club and the midfielder will be hoping next season can be better than the last.

Ugarte shared several photos of himself on Instagram with the simple caption: “Holidays”.

Football Insider Verdict
Despite suggestions that Ruben Amorim’s team may struggle financially, football finance expert Dan Plumley told Football Insider that United are in a strong PSR position this summer.
The Red Devils may have missed out on a place in the Champions League, but the allure of playing for the 20-time champions of England remains.
Bryan Mbeumo looks set for a move to United, despite late interest from Tottenham, while Matheus Cunha has joined from Wolves.
The Red Devils are yet to lay eyes on a new midfielder, but given their aggressive approach to the window so far, it would be a surprise not to see them at least contend with the idea of finding an Ugarte replacement.
The midfielder’s struggles last year are concerning, especially after he was replaced by Casemiro, who is several years past his peak.
