Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo respond after deal agreed
Man United players were active on social media in their reaction after a deal was agreed for a former teammate.
It’s been a relatively slow summer for the Red Devils so far, with Man United only announcing signings for Matheus Cunha and young talent Diego Leon.
While the focus has clearly been on outgoings, United have struggled to generate concrete offers for several unwanted players.
Football Insider revealed that Jadon Sancho is in talks over a potential move to Juventus, but his wage demands could prove a stumbling block.
He’s one of five players — including Marcus Rashford — who have been granted extra time off to try and secure moves away, though no deals have yet materialised.
This uncertainty has sparked speculation around other names too, such as Kobbie Mainoo, who has attracted interest from Chelsea.
Still, despite ongoing rumours around his own future, Mainoo joined other current United players in reacting to the news as a former teammate sealed a fresh move elsewhere.

Man United and Premier League stars react as Maxi Oyedele seals Strasbourg transfer
Former Manchester United academy graduate Maxi Oyedele has completed a move to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, just a year after joining Polish giants Legia Warsaw on a permanent deal from United.
Oyedele impressed during his time in Poland, including two Conference League appearances against Chelsea, which performances that appear to have caught the attention of Strasbourg, who are part of the same ownership group as Chelsea.
The 20-year-old confirmed the news on Instagram, writing: “Extremely excited to be at this club and be part of the Strasbourg family. I can’t wait to play in front of you fans and give everything for the club.”
His announcement sparked a wave of support from current and former teammates. Man United midfielder Mainoo replied “Yessir” while Anthony Elanga, now at Newcastle, commented: “All the best.”
Other players also shared a reaction by liking the post, including Man United captain Bruno Fernandes, Amad, and Leny Yoro.

Man United weigh up Kobbie Mainoo sale amid Chelsea interest
While Mainoo was quick to show support for his former teammate, his own future at Old Trafford remains up in the air.
Football Insider revealed that Man United are willing to listen to offers for Mainoo this summer, as the club looks to raise funds to address financial concerns.
A potential sale would count as pure profit on the books, making him one of the club’s more valuable assets in terms of balancing the books.
Man United are said to prefer a move abroad for Mainoo, but Premier League rivals Chelsea remain interested and have not been ruled out of the race should they decide to firm up their pursuit.
