Bruno Fernandes reacts to Alejandro Garnacho after worrying Man United exit update

Manchester United have learnt of a worrying development in their quest to sell Alejandro Garnacho, and amid the rumours around the exit, the winger has caught the attention of Bruno Fernandes.

Last month, Football Insider exclusively revealed that Garnacho was set to leave United due to his bust-up with manager Ruben Amorim.

The winger was left furious after he only played 20 minutes of the Red Devils’ Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, and appeared to criticise the decision on social media.

It’s been reported that the 20-year-old would prefer to stay in the Premier League, with Tottenham and Chelsea both possible destinations.

Fernandes reacts to ‘under-fire’ Garnacho

Garnacho angered Man United fans last week, after he shared a photo of himself wearing teammate Marcus Rashford’s Aston Villa kit.

Rashford, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa, is in a similar situation to the Argentine, with a move away from the Red Devils imminent.

Amid the saga, Garnacho shared some photos of his holiday to the Algarve during the off-season, with the caption: “Portugal roll.”

United captain Fernandes liked the post to show support for his under-fire teammate.

Man United will have to subsidise Garnacho’s move away

Football Insider Verdict

Man United may be forced to subsidise some of Garnacho’s wages if the winger moves away from Old Trafford this summer.

Amorim’s side have been undermined by the fact that everyone knows they need to sell this summer, so have lost bargaining power in negotiations.

As a result, if the young attacker moves to either Chelsea or Spurs, United could be directly financing their Premier League rivals.

The Red Devils are also looking to get Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho off the wage bill, as Amorim continues his summer rebuild ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Antony could make his loan spell at Real Betis permanent, while Sancho has been linked with a move back to Borussia Dortmund.

As for Rashford, the United academy graduate is desperate to join Barcelona, in an attempt to revitalise his career.
