Bruno Fernandes has reacted to Noussair Mazraoui after the pair were pictured together in training for Man United.
Spirits ought to be high in the Red Devils’ camp at the moment following their 2-2 draw with Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday (5 January).
That result ended a run of four straight defeats in all competitions and overcame plenty of expectations, with Arne Slot’s side having been tipped by many to be comfortable winners.
It was though Man United who enjoyed the better of things at Anfield in that game, and arguably had the best chances to claim all three points following a much improved performance.
Now it does indeed seem as though that may be helping to breed some confidence for Ruben Amorim’s side judging by the latest social media updates.
Bruno Fernandes social post hints at high spirits in Man United squad
Fernandes was one of those who won plenty of praise for what many felt was a much-improved individual performance on Merseyside.
It appears as though the Man United captain is keen to maintain that boost in morale, after taking to social media to react to one of his teammates.
Focus for the Red Devils will now turn to their trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday (12 January).
Following their victory over Man City in the final last season this is a trophy they are looking to defend in the coming month.
With Man United sharing pictures of the squad in training ahead of that game, one image that emerged was of Fernandes alongside summer signing Noussair Mazraoui.
The Portuguese international has subsequently shared that image on his own Instagram story, tagging the full-back and including a smiley face emoji.
Mazraoui has been a regular for the club since his summer move to Old Trafford from Bayern Munich for £17million (Daily Mail).
Indeed, many have viewed the 27-year-old, who has played on both the right and left, as one of the club’s better performers during the campaign so far.
