Bruno Fernandes sends cryptic message to Viktor Gyokeres after Man United news

Man United captain Bruno Fernandes has been spotted ‘liking’ a recent social media post by potential transfer target Viktor Gyokeres.

The 26-year-old Sweden international continued his remarkable form, bagging four goals in his country’s 6-0 UEFA Nations League win over Azerbaijan.

That brings the striker’s season tally to an incredible 28 goals in 23 games across all competitions, making him the most prolific forward in Europe’s top six leagues.

With Ruben Amorim leaving Sporting to take over at Man United, links over a potential move to Old Trafford for Gyokeres were inevitable.

According to The Telegraph, Gyokeres will have a release clause of just £63million once the summer transfer window rolls around, but United will face competition from Chelsea and Arsenal.

‘Agent’ Bruno Fernandes working on Viktor Gyokeres to Man United deal

Man United and Sporting have a rich history of player transfers, with Bruno Fernandes being the most recent to make the move, following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani.

Impressed by Gyokeres’ recent form, Bruno Fernandes showed his support by liking the striker’s latest Instagram post—a series of photos from Sweden’s 2-1 victory over Slovakia, captioned, “Thanks for yesterday.”

The club’s current crop of strikers have struggled to make any real impact so far this season, with Joshua Zirkzee scoring just once in 17 appearances and Rasmus Hojlung netting twice in 12.

Just 11 games into their Premier League season, the 20-time champions sit 13th with 15 points, making European qualification increasingly unlikely.
