Bruno Fernandes has sent Man United teammate Altay Bayindir a message after his heroic FA Cup display against Arsenal.
The 20-time champions progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup after defeating the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium via a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw after extra time.
United had been at a disadvantage from the 61st minute when Diogo Dalot was sent off, but an impressive performance from Bayindir helped guide Ruben Amorim’s team to a win.
Bayindir saved a penalty during the game while also making several other important saves before playing a key role during the penalty shootout itself by denying Kai Havertz.
The 26-year-old has had limited football this season for United, with this being his fourth appearance of the campaign in all competitions.
United drew Leicester City at home for their fourth-round draw where Bayindir will be hoping to continue his impressive display.
