Bruno Fernandes sets stance on quitting Man United after Real Madrid latest
Man United have no immediate concerns over captain Bruno Fernandes choosing to quit the club, sources have told Football Insider.
The midfield superstar turns 31 in September and is running out of time to win the biggest honours in his career.
Fernandes’ contract at Man United runs until June 2027 with his club holding the option to extend it a further 12 months.
Ruben Amorim has shot down links with Spanish giants Real Madrid – who would deliver the midfielder a chance to fight for the world’s biggest trophies.
Fernandes determined to restore Man United glory
However, sources say Fernandes is determined to restore Man United to their former greatness and has taken a lot of responsibility as he tries to deliver that objective.
The midfielder, who joined United in January 2020, is hoping the INEOS leadership will show enough ambition in the upcoming summer transfer window.

He has won the FA Cup and League Cup with the Red Devils and has the chance to deliver Europa League glory at United this term.

Man United ahead of Everton in Delap race
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on Thursday (10 April) that Everton will struggle to compete with Man United and Chelsea for the signature of Ipswich Town star Liam Delap.
Delap has attracted interest across the Premier League after his debut season in the top flight with Kieran McKenna’s side.
Sources say it would be a “huge coup” if Everton could land the forward – with Man United and Chelsea still a big pull for young English talent.
