Bukayo Saka and William Saliba react to Gabriel Magalhaes’ Arsenal post
Gabriel Magalhaes shared a message to Arsenal supporters from the Emirates while unavailable injured that sparked reactions from teammates.
Arsenal were held to their 13th draw of the season following a frustrating 2–2 result against Crystal Palace on 23 April.
Jakub Kiwior has stepped in place for Gabriel, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season and opened the scoring but Eberechi Eze equalised with a superb volley.
Leandro Trossard restored the Gunners’ lead before the break, but a brilliant long-range chip from Jean-Philippe Mateta over David Raya levelled the game once again in the second half.
Despite being unavailable, Gabriel was watching from the stands and he made his presence felt, showing support for his teammates both in person and online, posting a message to fans that drew engagement from several of his teammates.

Arsenal set to open Gabriel contract talks amid fresh Saudi interest
The Brazilian defender posted a heartfelt message to Arsenal supporters following the draw against Crystal Palace, sharing images from the stands along with a simple caption: “Emirates Stadium” accompanied with a red heart emoji.
His post earned plenty of engagement from teammates, with Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Declan Rice all liking the message – a sign of the strong camaraderie within the squad despite recent setbacks.
Gabriel’s injury adds to a growing list of key absentees this season, joining the likes of Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines.
With the centre-back ruled out for the remainder of the campaign, it may present an opportunity for the club to enter discussions regarding his future.
Football Insider revealed Arsenal are preparing to open talks with Gabriel over a new contract in a bid to ward off interest from Saudi Arabia.
Reports earlier this year suggested that Al-Nassr were lining up a formal offer for Gabriel, but the Gunners are now believed to be ready to secure his long-term future in north London.
Arsenal target Dean Huijsen in defensive reshuffle

While Gabriel looks set for a new deal, the Gunners are still expected to reinforce their defensive ranks in the summer.
Football Insider revealed Arsenal are in the race to sign Bournemouth star Dean Huijsen. However, competition is fierce, with Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United also monitoring the 20-year-old’s situation.
Should a deal for Huijsen go through, it remains to be seen how Mikel Arteta would integrate the young talent into a backline already anchored by the ever-reliable pairing of Saliba and Gabriel.
