Bukayo Saka breaks silence on social media after Arsenal run riot
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka may be sidelined, but he still joined in the celebrations after his team’s emphatic Champions League triumph over PSV.
Arsenal made history with their 7-1 win on 4 March, becoming the first team to score seven goals in a Champions League knockout match away from home.
Despite missing a recognised striker, Mikel Merino filled in as a makeshift number nine, and the Gunners still produced a dominant display, putting themselves in a commanding position to reach the quarter-finals.
Declan Rice sent a message to Arsenal fans following the victory, and Saka, despite his injury, was quick to follow suit in celebrating the stunning result.

The England international shared a lighthearted reaction to Arsenal’s stunning victory over PSV, posting a meme of Michael Jackson eating popcorn on his Instagram story.

Saka could miss the remainder of the season after limping off with a hamstring injury in December, an injury that required surgery.
With Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz ruled out for the season and Gabriel Martinelli also injured, Arsenal’s attacking options have been stretched thin.
Before his injury, Saka was enjoying another brilliant campaign, recording nine goals and 13 assists in just 24 appearances. While he remains out, he was clearly entertained as the Gunners ran riot in their Champions League clash.

Ethan Nwaneri steps up in Bukayo Saka’s absence despite Arsenal injury woes
Arsenal fans urged the club to strengthen their attack in the January transfer window, but no reinforcements arrived, leaving Mikel Arteta to rely on internal solutions.
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 20 February that Arteta was left frustrated with the Arsenal hierarchy after their failure to bring in new attacking options.
However, 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri has seized his opportunity, delivering standout performances since breaking into the first team. His goal against PSV was his eighth of the season, proving he can help fill the void left by Saka’s injury.
With the multiple injuries in the side, he’s taken his chance to prove that he can perform at the high level and is likely to give Arteta a selection headache once Saka returns to the side.
