Arsenal star Bukayo Saka took to social media to show support for his teammate after their 3-0 Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday (January 22).
The 23-year-old watched from afar as the win over Dinamo Zagreb put Mikel Arteta’s side on the brink of automatic qualification for the knock-out rounds.
Saka has been out of action with a serious hamstring injury since Arsenal’s 5-1 Premier League win over Crystal Palace earlier in the season, subsequently missing their last eight games.
Declan Rice opened the scoring after just two minutes, slotting past Ivan Nevistic in the Dinamo Zagreb goal on the half-volley.
Kai Havertz doubled the home side’s lead just after the hour mark with a fine header before Martin Odegaard rounded off the scoring in added time.
The win over Dinamo Zagreb takes Arsenal up to third in the new Champions League league phase, with 16 points from their seven games.
