Bukayo Saka sends two-word message to Myles Lewis-Skelly after stunning update
Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka believes there is more to come from Myles Lewis-Skelly after his performance in their 3-0 Champions League win over Monaco on Wednesday (December 11).
The 18-year-old left-back made his first start for Arsenal’s first-team in front of the home fans on Wednesday, as Mikel Arteta’s side continue to endure a defensive injury crisis.
Arsenal were missing five senior defenders after Riccardo Calafiori, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Gabriel all picked up knocks, joining Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu on the treatment table.
Saka, 24, was on hand to secure the win, having a hand in all three of Arsenal’s goals, scoring the first two and providing an unintentional assist for Kai Havertz.
The win takes them up to third in the new Champions League league phase with 13 points from their six games with two remaining.
Saka has been integral to Arteta’s plans both domestically and in Europe, starting 20 of his 21 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals, and providing 12 assists in 1694 minutes of action.

The wonderkid was substituted just after the hour mark, ending his game with a 96 per cent pass accuracy rate, a 100 per cent dribble success rate, as well as a 100 per cent tackle success rate.
Lewis-Skelly has made seven senior appearances across all competitions, yielding a total of 188 minutes on the pitch.
Delighted to have made his first start, Lewis-Skelly took to Instagram to commemorate a “Blessed night with this team,” to which Saka promptly responded by saying: “The Beginning.”

Arteta seems to have navigated his side out of a tough spell, winning four of their last five games across all competitions, having previously gone on a three-game winless streak.
Arsenal’s attention will return to the Premier League on Saturday (December 14) as they prepare to host Sean Dyche’s struggling Everton side.
