Celtic

Celtic fans on Twitter have been reacting with hilarity to a Tweet by their former striker and BT Sport pundit Chris Sutton.
Sutton, promoting the Celtic v Zenit Europa League match on his personal Twitter account, claimed that “all of Scotland will be cheering Celtic” this week in a clear attempt to troll Glasgow rivals Rangers and other Scottish Premiership sides.

The former Hoops striker knows full well that this won’t be the case, as Rangers fans will be hoping that their greatest rivals crash out of Europe, and supporters from many other Scottish clubs would no doubt like to see Celtic lose as well.
Hoops supporters thought the Tweet was hilarious, with one proclaiming that Sutton was a “wind up merchant”.

Sutton will be hoping that his old team are able to build on the 1-0 victory they achieved in the first leg in Glasgow.
The Hoops dominated the match from almost start to finish, and were well deserving of the win which was clinched thanks to Callum McGregor’s second-half strike.
If the Hoops manage to progress past Zenit into the draw for the last 16 of the competition, it will be the first time they will have reached that stage in Europe since losing to Juventus in the Champions League in 2013.
