Bristol City complete loan signing of George Earthy
Earthy has recently spent time on loan at the Robins.
In the 2024-25 campaign, the attacking midfielder spent the season at Ashton Gate, making 40 appearances in all competitions as he went on to score three goals.
As a result of his efforts, he was voted Bristol City’s Young Player of the Season.
Now, Earthy will be looking to recapture this form during his second spell at the Robins.
Upon Bristol City announcing the loan deal on their Instagram page on 9 January, many people reacted to the news, including current West Ham wonderkid Marshall.
The upcoming striker liked the post, as he likely hopes that his Hammers teammate finds success while out on loan.
What has Earthy said about returning to Bristol City?
Bristol City will once again be hoping to qualify for the playoffs this season as they look to finally reach the Premier League.
Earthy was fundamental to this success last season before the Robins were knocked out by Sheffield United in the playoff semi-finals.
However, much has changed since the West Ham youngster was last at the club, with Liam Manning now gone, with Gerhard Struber taking his place in the dugout.
Nevertheless, Earthy remains keen to get back out on the pitch at Ashton Gate, as he looks to get his 2025-26 campaign back on track.
