Campbell excited by Arsenal swoop for Tolisso after price slashed by £26m
Kevin Campbell has claimed Corentin Tolisso is available for a “bargain” price amid interest from Arsenal and Man United.
However, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gunners and Everton striker suggested Mikel Arteta and Edu should look elsewhere because of the 27-year-old’s injury history.
According to German publication Bild (August 9th), Bayern Munich would accept an offer of just £8.5million for the centre-midfielder, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract.
The news has alerted Arsenal and United as both clubs look to bolster their options in the middle of the park before the transfer window closes.
Tolisso has struggled with injury problems since joining Bayern Munich from Lyon in a £35million deal in July 2017.
He has spent a total of 433 days sidelined for the Bundesliga champions.

“That is a bargain for a player of his quality, definitely,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.
“Tolisso is experienced, rather than someone with potential so it would go against the trend this summer. It will be interesting if they do follow through with that interest.
“I like the price, I really like the price but would a younger player be preferred.
“He’s had a lot of injury problems over the last few seasons though so that could be a problem. If Arsenal are going to buy someone to do a job, they need to be fit.”
