Campbell issues ‘unexpected’ West Ham claim as David Moyes speaks out on ‘issue’
Kevin Campbell has claimed West Ham manager David Moyes “will be expecting a lot more” from his players at offensive corners.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker does not believe the Irons’ lack of goals from set-pieces is “a major issue” though.
The Hammers lost 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night (19 October).
Prior to the game, David Moyes’ side had taken 54 corners in their ten Premier League matches, but had found a teammate with just 16 of them.

Speaking to Football.London (18 October), Moyes address his side’s “issue” from corners and suggested better deliveries and runs were needed.
When asked by Football Insider if the Irons were missing a trick from corners given the profile of their side, Campbell said: “Yeah, they might be.
“When you have a big side you expect to score from corners. Moyes will be expecting a lot more.

“The thing is, when you have lots of big players the opposition is more diligent. They mark you tighter and are on their toes. Teams know that if they don’t mark West Ham well they will score.
“I do not think it is a major issue for them. I think it will sort itself out. They have too many players good at attacking the ball for it to continue.”
