Campbell: ‘It doesn’t look good’ for Leicester City after source’s Newcastle United-James Maddison update
Kevin Campbell fears for Leicester City as Newcastle United consider a third bid for James Maddison.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker is “worried” about what is happening at the King Power Stadium.
Source explained to this site (4 August) that the Foxes have told Newcastle Maddison is not for sale in this window.

It comes after two unsuccessful bids from the Magpies for the attacking midfielder.
However, according to inews‘ Mark Douglas (4 August), Eddie Howe’s side are considering a third offer for Maddison.
Youri Tielemans and Wesley Fofana also have uncertain futures at the King Power Stadium.
When asked by Football Insider how much Maddison was worth, Campbell said: “I think £60million is about right.
“Last summer there was talk of Arsenal having to pay £75million to sign him – that is too much. I think £55-60million is about right.
“Maddison did very well last season. He contributed with goals and assists in a Leicester side that was far from at its best.
“When you think about it, £60million is about right. Anything more is too much though.

“You have to remember that he is not even getting in the England squad. Maddison is a very good player though.
“I worry for Leicester. I worry about what is happening there. All of the best players want to leave. The fact that all of the top players want to leave now… It doesn’t look good to me.”
